It should be noted that Paulo Nalin has also been dedicated to arbitration for over twenty years. As an arbitration lawyer, he has experience in the most reputable domestic and international chambers (LCIA, GAFTA, CAM). He is a recurring arbitrator in domestic and international contractual arbitrations, appearing on the list of arbitrators of ARBITAC, CAMFIEP, and FGV.

Nalin’s legal practice experience is closely connected with his long academic career, having taught at the undergraduate level at PUC-PR (Full Professor of Civil Law), UNICURITIBA, as well as in numerous (lato sensu) graduate level courses. He is currently an associate professor at UFPR, at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels, teaching Civil Law, Arbitration, and International Contracts. Additionally, as a professor, he has had tenures at Coimbra (UC), Seville (UPO), and Trento (UniTrento).

As a result from the merging of his legal practice and academic life, Paulo Nalin has become a sought-after legal opinion writer in the areas of contracts (domestic and international) and corporate law.

A highly requested international (conference) speaker, he has given lectures in Coimbra and Porto (Católica do Porto), Portugal; Wellington (Victoria University), New Zealand; Camerino and Milan (Statale de Milano), Italy; and Basel (UNIBASEL), Switzerland.
